Molly was born in Pennsylvania and began to work professionally as a teenager at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production included The Snow Queen. Following that, Molly portrayed Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and was nominated to win a Barrymore Award. After her Broadway debut, at the tender age of 15, she reprised this part and was awarded an award from the Drama League Award. Molly was also on Broadway to perform in the reprise in Fiddler on the Roof. She then attended Princeton University and was a part of the Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2008. She graduated in 2008 with an B.A. She also appeared in Disney's College Road Trip, playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly began her career after having completed her Off-Broadway stage debuts, including End Days and The Wonderful Maladys on HBO Pilot. Molly is a regular in regional plays like The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in the Barrington Stage Company's production and NSH Music Theatre's production of 2008 as well as the Westport Country Playhouse 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank where she played Anne. Molly's most well-known role was that of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) as Ali the teenage daughter. Also, she was a part of Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written and directed by Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, which was held in 2008.
