Ford went off the scene for a few years following both albums failing to gain much popularity. It was 1988 when Ford debuted her wildly successful album 'Lita.' The song "Kiss me Deadly" and ballad "Close My Eyes Forever" became huge hits. However, the popularity in her professional career was short, and for many years she was absent from the industry of entertainment. Her 'Black" album came out in 1995. Her 'Wicked Wonderland" released almost fifteen years later. Her latest album, Time Capsule was released in 2016. She was awarded The Certified Guitar Legend Award by the Guitar Player Magazine.
