Anne Celeste Heche is an American actor, who was renowned for her wide variety of roles in films TV, theatre, and film. Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953, is an American actor from America. She's best-known as Lieutenant Sheba of the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978-1979. The actress is the daughter and granddaughter of actors Gene Lockhart. Lockhart started her acting career very early. At the age of four, her first acting role was on screen in T is for Tumbleweed. The film, which was a short one subject, was selected for the academy award. She learned how to run the company from her mother during the shoot. Lockhart has even appeared in numerous Lassie episodes. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her first feature film. The Sixth Sense was a program on television that was aired in 1972. At the age of 18 years old, she portrayed Joan Crawford, Joan's daughter. This was her last acting appearance. There is a rumor that Anne did not want to be Laurie Strode, the character in the horror film of John Carpenter's film, Halloween. The role was eventually played by Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter said it was Anne's initial choice for the part, but she refused. Anne doesn't recall ever approached by John Carpenter nor being offered the job. Her agent may have declined the offer for her, but with no knowledge. Glen Larson chose her initially and sent her a preliminarily written script. She was to appear in the TV series Battlestar Galactica, which aired from 1978. The character wasn't strong enough to convince her to take on the role. Later Glen wrote a new part specifically for her, with a much stronger character named Sheba. She embraced the Living Legend's script after having read the first 25 pages. The show ran for one season. She starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the film Joyride (1977) as well as co-starred with Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
