Alexa is a popular American singer and writer. Her parents are Billy Joel, a singer/songwriter and Christie Brinkley, a model. Joel is an New York native who has followed in her parents' passion of fashion and music. As a 19-year-old Joel started her first band. Her first show live took place at Maxwell's Hoboken New Jersey. She told media after a complete recovery that she did not intend to take her own life.
